It's been a while since my last post, owed in part to the fact that I have physically and mentally been "Here, There, and Everywhere". I have been helping out with a volunteer group whose mission is to "Restore the Republic". What is the Republic? I'm glad you asked.
The republic is the concept of a union of sovereign states with the states being composed of sovereign citizens. In a republic every person has the rights they were born with by natural law.
Natural law is not given to us by our constitution or any document or legislature. Our basic rights were given to us by our creator among which are the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Under natural law we are able to do what we please as long as we don't infringe on the rights of others. Natural law describes humanity's natural born tendencies. These include pursuing freedom by questioning authority and exploring our interests.
